Two Bay Area Health Care Workers Presumptive Positive for Coronavirus
Two Bay Area health care workers have been determined “presumptive positive” for coronavirus - one of the workers is from Alameda County and the other one from Solano County.
Precisely...
My wife spent the day with a friend at Evergreen Hospital last week. I’ve been preparing physically for the last month. We have been good about using hand sanitizer and wipes as soon as we get in the car.
The next step will be more mental. When do you cut down on visits to the hospital. When do you you stay out of the stores and live on what you have. When do you do your decon in the garage before coming into the house?
That’s not an unsubstantiated “conspiracy theory”, its my own logical hypothesis (do you need me to define that?) of the claim that it’s been found in a location as having existed “in the wild” for 6 or more weeks here.
You front a hypothesis of how something that appears from all available information sources as having an R0 in the flu/common cold range and higher mortality rate being on the loose here for longer than the commonly accepted incubation period and not producing the numbers seen elsewhere.
“Chinese take out delivery now as the delivery guy in the parking lot - he has the food on the front of his delivery vehicle - you approach, he backs away, you take the food. On the bag are the names of the guy that delivered the food and the guy that cooked it along with both of their temperatures.”
80% of our grocery shopping is done via Walmart order online and pick up outside the store. Safeway and Raley/Nob Hill have the same online opportunity. Costco has two delivery systems and soon will be like Walmart, and we are signed up for their test market when it comes.
What is interesting, is when we go online to Walmart, Costco or Home Depot, Amazon prime comes on the upper right hand corner of my Chromepri Book with a pic of what we are looking at in the other stores and Amazon’s Prime Price. With one product, Walmart lowered its price to beat Amazon, so I added it to my Walmart cart for my next order at the better price.
Amazon Prime is great for regular and special needs.
In summary, this virus may speed up our changes in how we buy and/or shop.
The poor healthcare workers.
I pray they all are wearing proper PPE, lately and going forward.
This is what happened in China...HC workers attending to patients, before danger of this virus was known...then THEY were taken out.
I would think that USA HC workers are prepared and properly outfitted. I know there’s a shortage of masks, but not for HC centers, I don’t think.
Die. You arent going to die. The odds are like 1000:1 you wont die. Ill take those odds.
An EMT said yesterday that people are having anxiety and panic attacks due to this. So we may need child safety devices on our statements.

Besides the Chinese takeout, we will have Mexican, fast food choices and premium dining services at our front or side doors.
Different high school. Renton is south of Seattle, Everett is north. I think a third school in Bothell is also going to be closed. (Bothell is south of Everett).
Thats reasonable thought.
.
Thats where we are. We are in a good spot for supplies but we need to make some decisions. For example, my husband takes his elderly father to church Sunday nights so when do we decide its too much of a risk for him? If you wait until a case is discovered near you its too late. So who knows.
My answer is that its almost a certainty.
You mean like if liberal policies didn't create a dangerous environment, it would be harder of off a Seth Rich without much of an investigation?
My daughter is a paramedic. She tells me they all panic about everything. Her assessment of people has declined sharply since starting that job. They are dirty, silly animals. At least the ones in the urban shitholes.
Mayor Pete is bugging out . .
Yeah, I worry about them, too. My daughter is a nurse in the PICU and a transport nurse. She will be on the front line if/when this hits our area, going to other hospitals to pick kids up to bring them to the PICU. I work in IT for the same hospital, and I see their occupancy rate. It’s been eerily low for several weeks, now. I don’t know if that’s good news or bad. This hospital is on the front line of these types of things, and I’m wondering if they’re keeping the ICU census low so they can handle an influx.
