I'd welcome links to any human studies on this. Or animal studies. I looked into this a couple of weeks ago and just couldn't find anything. I believe the following is known.

• Silver does have anti-biotic, anti-viral and anti-fungal properties. It's why it was used as silverware.
• Silver has been shown to kill bacteria and viruses in test tubes.
• Silver can indeed turn your skin blue.
• It's also thought that it can block nutrient absorption in the gut.
• I couldn't find any human studies.
