Depending on the size, you can even put one egg in each cube of an ice tray and then bag them for the freezer. It takes up more freezer room but it portions out the size. Or whites in one tray and yolks in another.

Ice cube trays are handy little things. Left over tomato paste. Yogurt starter. Baby food.

Our neighbor has a lemon tree so we get free lemon juice, and use the cubes thru the summer. Really convenient when you only need a few tablespoons of juice and no bottle to clutter up the refrig door.

Yep, that’s a good way to freeze them.

I needed the extra space, so I froze by ½ doz and Doz.

Then, for baking, I know how many to measure out, once thawed. The rest/leftover, of the thawed bag, we’ll eat.

I’ve got several freezers pretty much packed, so, now I’m pressure canning meats.
