I wonder. Will covid complement A and B influenza or compete with it? I expect it will compete, so total cases, and deaths, will be about the same.

That's a good question. It would be scary if they co-exist. Influenza attacked upper respiratory system, corona lower. Both at the same time I can't imagine. I wonder if that's what's going on with the 20% that need hospitalization.

Yeah: upper and lower respiratory infections. I’d forgotten that distinction.
Still, they compete for the same population it seems.

Covid also seems more deadly, though evidence is still scant.
