day before yesterday Tedros said that the tests cost the WHO $5/ea. Most insurance have deductibles, so that would be out of pocket probably? But that assumes the test will cost the same in the US. It’s been said that the Chinese folks were being charged for their tests, too, which could be why the poor in Wuhan weren’t showing up to the hospital until they were on their deathbeds?

Lookner having another meltdown

This is an incredibly irresponsible statement by LA County. Transmission of the virus by someone without symptoms has NOT been ruled out, and there is indeed evidence to suggest it can happen.
@CountyofLA
should immediately rescind this and issue a correction.

BREAKING: LA County Public Health says a South Korean flight attendant who flew into LAX and later tested positive for #coronavirus did NOT pose any risk to the public while she was in LA County because she had no symptoms at time, and only developed them after leaving LA @FOXLA

5.00 test translates to 200 dollar test in US. 20% insurance co-pay means you pay $40

Now if you don’t have insurance your cost is 5.00
Our med system is screwed up.
