While I think this virus will have global impact, I think the death rates will vary from country to country (or region to region within a country) because of treatment protocols. Some docs will use too high levels of corticosteroids to treat pneumonia which will lead to deaths in greater numbers in some regions.

True, no doubt.
I don’t expect high mortality in the US. UNLESS we run out of necessary meds and supplies. Then we’ll get mortality from lots of other stuff besides.
Then all bets are off.
Hope they can get the manufacturing for what we’ll need up and running fast.
