I DID NOT IMPLY HE WAS DRUNK OR HIGH. I did state he was negligent if the reports about his company are correct.
Good god, just like I didn’t imply he was driving a car.
I gave a real life example that could happen to the middle class. In fact, it happens on a regular basis.
I fail to see why a person whose family is killed by a truck driver of Wal Mart should be able to sue for negligence but Vanessa Bryant isn’t allowed to sue by holier than thou people on this thread.
btw, for those that keep using the word GRED...I want you to think about this also:
When the drunk driver kills your bread winner and your child..and the lawyer says it is a clear case of negligence..how much do YOU want for the death of your loved ones by negligence.
Children usually get small payouts for a variety of reasons ...is it GREED if you are upset because you only are offered 15K by the insurance company for the death of your child due the negligent hands of another. Your CHILD IS DEAD. Can we call you greedy if 15k is not enough????
How much for your bread winner. What if you are offered 100K . Is that ENOUGH..or are you GREEDY because your bread winner would have made far more than that during the lifetime.
there is a calculation to be made when a loved one dies from negligence. Of course, you can turn it down or give it to charity.
It is all well and good to shout GREED until your loved one is killed by the negligence of another.
