This just in from dp0622...
Farmer Dean is recovering in a hospital in Ohio.
His temperature is back to normal from 106 degrees!!
Thats Not a misprint.
He only lost 10 pounds throughout the whole ordeal and the hole that was leaking in his colon has closed but he will STILL need surgery to completely rectify the problem.
God is Great and this guys a walking miracle. 4 or 5 septic infections, 3 bouts of pneumonia, in a coma several times, abscesses and other issues over the past 3 years and he keeps on trucking.
This is GREAT news! Everyone please keep praying for him.
He cant wait to get back home and get back to his Incredible gun collection. He loves talking about them :)
Like I said before, he and his wife are the kind of people that give even a jaded NYer like myself hope for humanity.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Thank you for this update! Farmer Dean sure is a fighter! Prayers continue!
Still on my prayer list. Thanks for the update.
Great news, indeed! Prayers continue.
Farmer Dean, Lord. Farmer Dean. Please take over and shock us with your power.
Quite the fighter!
Most people would have given up long ago. Dean ain’t giving up until the Lord tells him to rest.
Keep at ‘em, Farmer!
Amen to all prayers
I just read about a new & effective treatment for septicemia/septic shock. It consists of a combination of steroids, thiamine and Vitamin C. It is being touted as a miracle.
Thank you for the update. My father was a tough, old bird, and it looks like Farmer Dean is one as well. My prayers will continue for his complete recovery!!
God bless him and his family and friends.
Thanks for the update! I’m happy to hear that he’s pulling through! He sounds like a great guy! :-)
Please, everyone, get yourself a colonoscopy if you’re over 40 (or over 30 if you have a history of colon cancer in your family). It is a simple procedure and you are out like a light the whole time. It can save your life and/or prevent a lifetime of complications.
I saw colon cancer kill two loved ones. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.
Oh my. That is a horrible experience. Prayers for he and his family.
A hole in his colon, you say? But they can, “rectify” it?
Farmer Dean is a damn good FReeper! Thanks for the news!
Give ‘em what for FD!
