Francis has not specifically met with coronavirus sufferers, but shook hands with the faithful in the front row during the audience. He also kissed a baby during his popemobile spin through St. Peter’s Square and greeted visiting bishops.

But the clergy members appeared to refrain from kissing his ring or embracing him as they normally would.

That really drives a stake in the heart of Catholic belief when you begin to question the infallibility of the Pope.

Protestant here, and I’ve been questioning how long the Pope will be tolerated by the followers.

How long ago was he Ambassador?

Maybe Pope Che will retire soon and live the rest of his life like the person who retired before him.

Jesus please forgive me for the joyous thought I had when I read the headline to this article. A christian should never hope anyone to die a slow agonizing death.

Dunno actually.

seemed coincidental though.

Would have expected ‘high status’ Iranians to get the best health care in the country.

if they are dying anyways...

You must not get out much.

All in God’s good time.

You can pray for him too!

Do you doubt that the sons of Eli were priests of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? Do you think that they followed said Deity?

The human race is messy.

I am ex Catholic. I never renounced Catholicism, but have not been to church since my teens.
I did attend a Catholic funeral last week, and it was rather surprising. The congregation drinks out of a communal cup, wiped down with a rag between drinks.
They also shake each others hands. I remember that when I did attend church, and never liked it.
Even if we don’t get coronavirus, why in the world does the Church allow that in cold and flu season?

Sacrilege. That is The Vicar of Christ. You shall he turned into a newt as punishment for your vile disrespectful insolence.

It’s never too late to join a bible believing church.

We're praying for his healing ... and his conversion.

"Vigano also passed on to Dr. Moynihan that he also prays for Pope Francis- his intent in these months and years has been to ask for God’s blessing on Francis, that he become Peter, and like every Christian after, that he repents of any shortcomings and that he turn and confirm his brothers in the faith of all time."

Ash Wednesday with Vigano, St Charles Borromeo, Hilarion, and the Coronavirus

Really. Where in scripture is the office of vicar of Christ defined?
