Total deaths annually in just the US from Flu:
While the impact of flu varies, it places a substantial burden on the health of people in the United States each year. CDC estimates that influenza has resulted in between 9 million – 45 million illnesses, between 140,000 – 810,000 hospitalizations and between 12,000 – 61,000 deaths annually since 2010
Maybe someone should announce the number of flu deaths, along-side the corona virus death numbers, a few times a day, to gain perspective.

80,000 in the US alone last year i believe- or maybe it was 2017=- can’t remember now
Stop with the flu comparisons. Not helpful and is simply offered to say TRUST US not address the current situation transparent;ly.
If anything the fake news is underplaying the story. Just use your eyes and look at China. They have shutdown the country and economy for the last six weeks to try and get a handle on it, while lying about how bad it is. China’s economy will dramatically shrink for the first time in decades, and it risks (hopefully) toppling the government. Why would they do that if it was “just the flu”. It is obviously much much worse.
