One more good reason not to consume soft drinks.

Diet Coke is literal poison, and I wish President Trump would stop drinking them.

Someone get the word out to the Presidents. His health advisor is not doing his or her job.

This is a great example of why the supply chain fears may be overblown.
No good company is totally dependent upon one supplier or one source. Supply chains can be re-routed, substitute ingredients or parts can be sourced, or we will just make it here.
Remember saccharin? That wonderful sugar substitute in diet sodas that "caused cancer" if you drank 200 cans of soda a day? Well, it's still around...so get ready folks...say goodbye to Diet Coke but hello to your new old friend....

But the good news is, the company has started its contingency supply plans to cover the short-term impact. Brings up a good point though...good companies have a back up plan for critical parts.

He doesn’t smoke or drink alcohol, probably the best of the three to omit. :-)

There was a time in my life not too long ago, say a little over a year, where this news would be terrifying to me.
But now all I drink is water, unsweet tea, milk and coffee.
Now if there is coffee interruptions, there will be blood.

Coca-Cola is a publicly traded company. They are not owned by another entity.

I am OK with a diet Coke shortage as I do not drink any diet sodas whatsoever.
When they start messing with bacon, thats when I get involved!

These diet sodas have always been ghastly. I was young when they first appeared on the shelves. Never was deluded enough to buy into any "health" benefits.
I've long considered that it is funnier than the Stooges to watch some morbidly obese broad drinking Diet Coke and justifying it to herself...
