I’ve used white rice 5 or 6 years after.
I repack it in quart ziploc bags, nest those in gallon ziploc bags and freeze for 10 days to kill bugs and their eggs.
Then it’s on the shelf in my pantry on the north side of my house.
Had no problem with it. A whole 2 gallon bags of quart bags got ‘hidden’ behind some plumbing supplies hubby laid there and wasn’t discovered until a few years later when we needed the plumbing supplies again LOL. Put it in the crock pot with a whole chicken, some carrot coins and onions and some poultry spice. Yummy.

Conclusions derived from premises.

I think I figured it out. I am home now and able to look at my map. We are looking at the same map - but for some reason, the cases in Kansas are missing. If you look on the left, it says 57 cases for the US, but if you add up all the dots and the cases, it doesn’t come to 57. It only comes to 17. That is because those cases in Kansas are missing and the number there must now be 40. Not sure why that is. Two other sites I use have the total cases at 53. So, either way, the number in KS, that was on that map last night when I looked, stands at 36 or 40.
But we’ve had 3+ years of moving out of China.
But then the virus has followed into the SE Asian nations production went to.
It’s bigger than just China now.
