The article "forgets" to mention that she's a Democrat, but I see on a Ohio Democratic Party Facebook
page that "City Councilwoman Tamaya Dennard is the first out, queer woman elected to Cincinnati City Council and was the top vote getter for newly elected officials across the board. She has not only made history, but will continue to make history in her work to make Cincinnati more equitable for all."
Perhaps spending time in a women's prison will not be such a punishment for her.
