If there are 70 confirmed cases in this area alone, then why are we being told there are only 16 or 36 cases total nationally?

Something smells rotten.

What are the real, factual, actual total number of cases in the US? Because if one skips from article to article adding up from each story, the total numbers are way off from what were being told.
