Just got a notification on cell phone that Austria has refused entry to a train from Venice, Italy. Many news sources reporting about it.
All civil, private aircraft entering the U.S. must first land at an airport of entry before continuing to their destinations, unless other arrangements are made with U.S. CBP. Advance notification must be provided electronically to CBP by means of the eAPIS. See the APIS section for more information.
Customs will expect aircraft to land at the arrival time entered on their flight plan. Arriving up to 10 minutes late is acceptable. Passengers and crew should remain with the aircraft until a Customs official arrives and be prepared to show valid documents for persons and aircraft.
Some aircraft arriving from foreign locations south of the United States must land for Customs processing at the nearest airport to the border or coastline crossing point, unless an overflight exemption has been granted (CFR Title 19, 122.24).

Almost like dealing with leper colonies. Crazy. It might help them find facilities if they let people know exactly what is going on. If these people dont find facilities, we will all get it and there will be no hospital care for anyone.

Thanks for the info. My reps at work today. It just never made sense to send them 2,000 from the west coast to Alabama. And if this thing had started nearer the east coast, it wouldn't have made sense to send people from a east coast state out to Utah or Nevada, or wherever.

I don’t remember it being nearly this bad during H1N1. It seems like they were on the ball, testing early and had triage tents at hospitals everywhere. And it was not nearly as deadly as this one. Why the difference?

A woman from Buzau, arrived in Romania today, called the ambulance as soon as she got off the bus after presenting the symptoms of coronavirus. From the first information it appears that the woman had come into contact with a person who is suspected of the killer virus in Italy. The authorities of Buzon are on alert.
Coronavirus alert in Romania on Sunday night in Buzau after a 40-year-old woman got off the bus that brought her from Italy, where she had been to work. Near Buzau, the woman was beginning to feel ill, and when she got off the bus, she called the ambulance.
Yeah, things are really ramping up it seems. I just don't have feel a for how serious this thing is yet. Hopefully, it's an excess of caution reaction.
