I go away for a couple of days and this place turns into “Project Blue.”
Even if this IS a bio weapon, is it important to know what is going to kill you?
Or is it more critical to be prepared and take action to avoid this thing!?
I urge the folks on this thread to keep the conspiracy theories to a minimum because it’s going to drive away people who have good information to share.
I appreciate how it can make things interesting, but it can also make us come across as Coast to Coast AM.
10 Italian towns in lockdown over coronavirus fears

Authorities in northern Italy on Friday ordered the closure of schools, bars and other public spaces in 10 towns following a flurry of new coronavirus cases.
Five doctors and 10 other people tested positive for the virus in Lombardy, after apparently frequenting the same bar and group of friends, with two other cases in Veneto, authorities said at a press conference.
Over 50,000 people have been asked to stay at home in the areas concerned, while all public activities such as carnival celebrations, church masses and sporting events have been banned for up to a week.
Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said “everything is under control”, and stressed the government was maintaining “an extremely high level of precaution”.

Well, that explains a LOT about what they are and aren’t doing
CDC says they don’t believe reports of asymptomatic spread of CoronaVirus are accurate and still have not changed their guidance in regard to the issue. They need more data and will investigate those reports and patients further.

Reports just now that 10 cities in Italy are on lockdown. One of the mentioned patients died.

The CDC says they still are not changing their epidemiological guidance to include travel to areas outside of mainland China as a #CoronaVirus risk factor in deciding who qualifies to be tested for #COVID19.
We almost need a thread just for the conspiracy theories surrounding this virus. As it spreads, more and more nuts like Alex Jones, zerohedge, etc, will be jumping in, making it more and more difficult to find good information. Art Bell is a good comparison.
Saw that. Alex Jones almost had a heart attack reading the actual papers while Boyle was talking. Lol. Think it was called “A SARS Like Cluster of Circulating Bat Corona Viruses Shows Potential for Human Emergence” I think. Might look it up later. A real smoking gun.
Wanna take bets on the over/under case number for when the ‘kits’ finally get distributed and working?
Or will we just look at ‘excess deaths’ per demographic 10 years from now and guesstimate...?
The problem is those folks make money off conspiracies, and know exactly how to feed into people’s greatest fears in order to keep them clicking.

The thing may be a bioweapon - but right now it doesn’t matter worth a hill of beans in terms of preparing for the beast that is coming down the pike, fast.
I don’t think coronavirus is capable of reverse transcriptase necessary to be a retrovirus. DNA production totally different
