U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz says he’s been told by CDC that the new test kits won’t be ready until mid-March.
“The fact that it’s going to take a month for them to re-manufacture totally unacceptable,” he said.

The state said the CDC initially sent Hawaii’s kits to the wrong state. When they arrived, they was damaged. Another shipment didn’t work.
They are all electronic in my area. They go to a testing area and go into a booth. There is a practical test they take in a second section.
Spray down the computer screen between tests and you are all set.
I always thought handing out the hosts to everyone would get someone in trouble.
Yeah. Sure. The kits are defective. We dont have an out of control coronavirus problem in Hawaii. No sir. Not a smidgeon of the disease until Hawaii receives tests that work and show no disease. /sarc. And, what a coincidence, it will be 3 weeks until these kits arrive.

The 14 coronavirus-stricken Americans evacuated from a cruise ship in Japan were flown back to the US on a plane full of healthy people against advice from the CDC, a report said Thursday.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention officials argued the 14 infected Diamond Princess passengers shouldn’t be flown back with the about 300 virus-free people — but ultimately lost the battle to the US State Department, according to The Washington Post.

Well the President of South Korea just said the situation is severe. So probably no more church services or large meetings for awhile.
Why do they even have the authority to over rule CDC ?

Now that it probably doesn’t matter, Africa will be next, where it will be virtually unstoppable.
I’ve been saying “don’t panic, prepare and be vigilant.” It is time, people, to take it to the next level. Stock up on supplies before the general panic sets in, especially canned foods and lots of water (if you’re already a prepper you’re probably fine). All the essentials. Masks & booties. Plastic sheeting, duct tape. Prepare for the coming quarantines & maybe preemptively isolate your family. You probably have a week or so before it’s everywhere.
I feel a little silly saying this. I’ll happily be wrong. I don’t think I am.
