So this means Buttigieg thinks he can get black votes (he won't) or Christian votes (forgetaboutit) by pointing to selected scripture and claiming the actual good people are intolerant of him.
And like many his age he is self-satisfied, cocky, arrogant and thinks he can get away with anything. So he wants to cut down on Evangelicals siding with Trump. He thinks it's all a myth anyway, so what's the big deal.
