Everybody should be doing what they can to get their immune system up and healthy in case this virus shows up here. A healthy immune system will give you an edge. Vitamin C is well documented to increase the immune system. I found a good source of powered hospital grade vitamin C on Amazon called Nutribiotic Sodium Ascorbate Powder.
Vitamin C plus D3 and zinc. Get some sun, too.

Good point—and the Doctor on MedCram emphasized the importance of adequate-8hrs of sleep to beef up the Immune System.
I'll continue the slide since we are all open minded here. Vit C orally is good for a daily supplement, but it does little to "boost" your immune system. You near moar moar moar Vit C to do that. You cannot eat a bunch of Vit C. Oral Vit C has limited bio-availability. And if you've ever eaten more than a gram or so, you know the consequences (stay close to the bathroom).
So what's the solution? One solution is IV Vit C if you can find a doctor to do it. Another solution IS an oral solution. The crux of the matter is to make the Vit C more bio-available. To do that, the Vit C has to be encapsulated in a fat. When encased in a fat, the Vit will be absorbed by the digestive system. This is called LIPOSOMAL VITAMIN C.
You can buy liposomal Vit C, but you can also make it. There are various schools on how to make it (some involving alcohol), but the basic ingredients are Vit C powder, distilled water, vodka (40% alcohol or 80 proof) and lecithin (fat). You also need a strong blender (Ninja or Bullet recommend) and a ultrasonic jewelry cleaner unit. Without the ultrasonic unit, you can make some good liposomes, but you get more with it. Here is good recipe. This makes a huge amount, so it's good for a family. For a single or couple, you can reduce the recipe. It is perishable and will oxidize over time.
Note: I personally double the amount of Vit C powder in this recipe. You can also use grain alcohol, but adjust the amount. Where I am in FL grain alcohol is 150 proof, so I can roughly half the amount of alcohol in the recipe and replace with water. In other states grain alcohol is 180 proof, so do the math and use proportionately. You can replace the alcohol with water if you can't have alcohol, but you will most definitely have to use the ultrasonic unit to create liposomes. This method is far more perishable.
