They were both awful. Algerian Very tannic with vomit aftertaste. Moroccan was lighter bodied with some cocoa and dust on the finish. Back when Algeria was a French colony, it was a huge exporter of wine back to France, mostly for the low end bum wine/tavern market.
Sorry to hear it. I would think the climate there might be pretty good for grapes.
