Same here. “They” have to tinker with everything, whether it’s pussy hats or LGBTQXYZ+.
I actually don’t enjoy the female college FB announcer on one of the networks, I’m just used to hearing men announce it.
As an aside, I got a new issue of Architectural Digest and it’s all woke, too.
The Ivy League has seen to it that females are taking over the architecture departments so AD had a spread with quotes from them, saying nothing about design but spouting PC/diversity/inclusion/green talking points.
Quite amazing and disappointing, really.

I have never watched anything but Nok Hockey a handful of times. Not knowing anything about hockey rules, I didn't even try to play a Nok Hockey game myself.
But I have heard of Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Hull and Boom-Boom Geoffrion because he was on the news in Atlanta years ago..

Not sure why this stuff is a “thing.” The TV production field has had women in it forever. But, yeah...good for them.

Easy. Just watch/listen to the game in 7.1 surround sound and just mute the center channel. Voila! (”walla” in Rio Vista). No announcers’ voices.

As opposed to the babbling dynamic d-bags Emrick and McGuire? Kendall Coyne knows the game, has good insights. I say give them a chance. Anything is an improvement over Emrick and McGuire. For that extra boost, I say introduce as a guest to the broadcast (aptly named) Don Cherry. That would be something...
