DP0622, I still have dear friends who are like family to me who still live in NYC. They were born there, have either parents or married children & grandchildren there, and cannot conceive of living anywhere else. I wish they would move somewhere else, somewhere beautiful and peaceful. No way are they gonna do it.
I also still harbor anger at the job of teaching becoming impossible unless you had absolutely zero integrity and were willing to just rubber-stamp the evil policies passed down from stupid libtard politicians to stupid libtard administrators. I LOVED teaching, it was my life, but it was no longer tenable to stay in that city and teach. Not here either, for much the same reasons. I still harbor anger at the invasion of illegals and Chinese just taking over the neighborhoods en masse--no choice but to move.
