The skill of two pilots was captured on video as they landed the world's largest passenger plane sideways while battling heavy crosswinds at Heathrow Airport.
The Etihad Airbus A380, which is flown by two pilots, can be seen hovering metres above the tarmac as it attempted to touchdown on Saturday during Storm Dennis.

Kinda wonder why they didn’t choose an alternate airport. Big downside risk.

You want pilots that can’t keep it on the runway?

It does like it does look like they taxi right into the grass.
The grass must be hiding a taxiway, as if they truly were in the grass the front gear wouldve sunk in immediately.

Amen! Back in the old days when I bought newspapers and went on line to read something, I didn’t have to consent letting that publisher know everything about me, my family, income and other personal data.
They are after our personal data to package and sell to other companies. They should be selling their ‘unnamed hits’ not our personal data.

Wow! Great pilots. Reminds me of watching B-52’s landing at Carswell AF Base in the ‘80s. B-52’s routinely landed diagonal or almost sideways but their landing gear stayed true to the runway. very interesting to watch. Thanks for the link

The link for SkyNews puts up a privacy window that has only the option for *accept* to view the video.
I am not accepting terms and conditions for ANYTHING to view something.

In the olden days, many of us bought newspaper and magazines at a stand.
