Roughly half of their population (and twice ours), and I suspect that covers virtually ALL of their manufacturing...with the remaining people in the less densely populated areas, concentrating on agriculture.
Essentially what we are seeing is in the coming weeks as supply dwindles, China has in effect conquered the world economically without a single shot being fired. Why were we, the USA, so stupid to allow our manufacturing to be shipped overseas. Awww the almighty dollar.
