1:45 PM PT -- OneUnited Bank prez and chief operating officer Teri Williams is doubling down and standing firm behind the Harriet Tubman debit card. She tells TMZ the bank is "unapologetically black." What's more ... Williams says the debit card design had been in the works since 2016.

Tubman led an extremely tough life.
“Was she an R or D?”
Women of any color didn’t vote in the 1860s.
I did a report on her in high school, 45 years ago. She carried a gun and she knew how to use it. She related more to Lincoln than Jefferson Davis.
Well, that superhero movie about Wakanda didnt have a hateful anti-white thing in it. A white guy saved the day, and it was pretty positive. Some sci-fi fantasy thing that a tribe in Africa was some crazy advanced civilization. The bad guys were another black faction. Really kinda uplifting.
Who cares? Let em have a little fun. Their company anyway
Nobody. But the objective is, is to put this out there because there'll always be someone who'll object strictly on Tubman's looks and not on her accomplishments, and then the Left will scream how bigoted and evil whites are, and the goalposts get moved some more.
Incorrect. It is a lot of black people that are upset at her being commercialized.
“Some one I would look up to if
i was black.”
The woman stuck her neck out to help REAL refugees. Read about her. She should be admired by all.
The bad art and the Wakanda pose is what makes the card so silly.
I have no doubt there are a few dumb@ss politicians who think Wakanda is a real place.
That’s it. I like that image, but don’t know who the artist is.
and another example from the many who are upset

She looks like she’s suffered decades of severe stress and strain. That is not a relaxed, happy face.
Too ta do do ta doo
Thanks for the earworm.
That is a fascinating photograph, isn’t it? I’d love to hear the stories from each of those people.
You know what’s amazing? Tubman lived to be about 90 years old. The woman was hit in the head with a soldering iron when she was in her teens or 20s.
