That is absurd! Your very attempt at an argument appeals to the very tactic I reproved, that of making the objective subject to the subjective, and thus your means is actually an argument against being a Mormon.
The proof text LDS disciples invoke for your means of ascertaining Truth is that of the disciples of Christ expressing how their heart burned within them. However, what they leave out was that this was "while he opened to us the scriptures?" (Luke 24:32)
Which did not mean Truth was determined by a feeling, but that And "beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself." (Luke 24:27)
Thus the "witness to your soul the truthfulness of what you are reading" must conflate with what the Scripture actually says, vs. feelings themselves meaning such is true, for Muslims even claim to see Muhammad in Scripture...
