Rush Limbaugh was moved to tears by a caller’s offer to donate one of his own lungs to the host’s battle against cancer during Wednesday’s show.
“And when you’re done with me, if I could talk to Mr. Snerdley briefly,” the caller said at the end of a brief conversation, prompting a mildly confused “uh, okay, I’m done with you,” from Limbaugh. Minutes later, “America’s Anchorman” was fighting back tears.
“I just asked Snerdley, ‘What did that guy want who was through talking to me and wanted to talk to you?'” Limbaugh said after an off-air conversation with producer James “Bo Snerdley” Golden during a break. “Snerdley did not drop a beat: ‘He wanted to donate a lung, if you wanted one.'” The video clip, tweeted by the Washington Examiner, captures the legendary host’s candid reaction. “Oh, wow… That would have been the last thing that I… I thought he was trying to grease the skids to call-in again,” Limbaugh said in a voice choked with emotion. “You all just continue to stop me dead in my tracks.”
Limbaugh has been overwhelmed with support since the announcement of his stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis. “I continue to get e-mails, and flowers, and cards… It’s– It’s voluminous. And it is so… touching,” he said, soldiering on through his tears. “This is why I said last Friday… how lucky I am.”

I was listening that day when this happened. Bo Snerdley told Rush he was getting 2 such offers a day.

He probably meant it. Reminds me of a story by a guy who thought he knew wild mushrooms, but didn’t. Ate a poisonous one and had severe kidney damage. He destroyed one of his kidneys and his daughter donated one of hers to keep him alive. Guess who he was.

High level Dems (and/or Bloomberg) would just have Xi arrange one for them
If this courageous and generous fan can help Rush by this extremely kind and loving offer; he and Rush better get to it because at age 70 one can no longer receive an organ transplant in the USA. Rush will be seventy on 1/12/2021.
I know this because I am precisely 26,406 days old (about 72.25 years) and am aware of this "extreme age" restriction that our brilliant government critters have instituted, at 70 one is only useful to the trash heap.
I harken back to the Obamacare "death panel".
They can have whatever needs to be done outside of the US. There are many countries that would accommodate Rush and a donor.
He’s lost a lot of weight , which is to be expected. I hope he is getting the best treatment available to mankind.
Mark Steyn was hosting for Rush and talking about the multiple offers for lung donations the other day. Steyn said if this keeps up, they will need to have “Open Lung Friday.”

The problem with Stage 4 lung cancer is not the lung; it’s that it has spread to other vital organs like the liver. You can’t replace enough stuff to get rid of the cancer.
