We buy sales of beef, chicken whatever and can them. Grow food in our garden, and can or dehydrate. Right now, I have winter wheat, rye, garlic, and carrots in the garden. They’ll be ready by end of spring to harvest.
I have a pressure cooker and a dehydrator but alas I just don't have the time - age. I used to can tomatoes, other things when I was a hermit living in the mountains. My son is an RN and covered up at work. We buy freeze dried in long term storage #10 cans mostly.
