Two prestigious Catholic universities will offer programs for the first time in Belgium to help train imams who serve as prayer leaders and preachers in mosques.
Announced at the end of 2019, the programs of study grew out of the work of an official commission “launched after Islamist attacks in Brussels in 2016,” reported weekly newspaper The Tablet. The aim is to provide university-level education for prospective imams.
In Belgium, certain ministers of religion are paid by the government. Following the new programs supported by two Catholic universities, this also will be possible for imams, as the courses will be recognized by the state.

The Most Important Catholics in the world, in terms of saving the world, are American Catholics who voted majority for Trump in 2016 and will do the same in 2020.
He’ll win many important states because of us.
So let the “leaders” do whatever insane they are inclined to do.
Many are just as “Catholic” as our politicians are “republican”.
To heck with them.

You sound like romney or mccain trying to win the love of the democrats by putting your own group down.
They aren’t loved by dems. They are their fools.

While I have no doubt that there are many Moslems who sincerely believe they are praying to the One True Creator god (and I believe He hears anybody’s sincere prayers, regardless of how mistaken they may be theologically or otherwise),
having said all that, imho
the Islamic religion today is very often preached as a heavily Satanic cultic affair (especially since the “good” parts of Koran that Moslem apologists like to quote to us.... are often actually taught as having been superseded or canceled by “later” awful, hateful, violent verses....or are simply ignored...)....
Islam has proven extremely dangerous for over a thousand years. Those that refuse to learn from history are fated to repeat it. Much of Europe is going down... we pray the Pope will straighten up soon.
Nothing evil to see here, no sirree.
Kind of reminds me of American workers who train the foreigners that are going to replace them.
