Brighton police have made an arrest in the crash the day before Thanksgiving on Edgewood Avenue that killed two pedestrians.
Twenty-year-old Ninoshka Vazquez-Ruiz is charged with two counts of criminally negligent homicide for the deaths of nine-year-old Mila Ruangsuwana and her baby-sitter, Elmira Kamilevna Hall.
The woman also is charged with one count of assault for injuring the girl's 2-year-old brother, Evan.
Police say the woman was driving 63 mph in a 30 mph zone, failed to keep right and did not have a license.
She is due in Town Court on Wednesday.

illegal alien info is from an RPD friend that I cannot quote by name.
Just a heads up that according to Lonsberry she is a resident alien.
If she's an illegal alien, I would expect there to be a detainer filed by ICE. Have not heard that has been done.
The story goes that she was an illegal, and they 3 months was time to get her a green card before the charges were filed.
That's immigration fraud. LE is obligated to report that to ICE.
And I don’t know how she was able to get Permanent Resident status in three months, unless she is eligible for one of the humanitarian programs, has family in US, etc. Three months is really pushing the system.

My source doesn’t know any more than what he’s said. At the time of the wreck she was an illegal alien and now she’s not.
