How about at least call ahead and let them know youre coming? Yikes.
Its like the health depts and CDC live in completely alternate realities to the HHS, DoD, and (most) of the rest of us who are paying even a little bit of attention
When will those people be released from quarantine from March AFB? They are too busy mingling. I thought a quarantine was all about isolating people so they don't infect others, but I guess that's just old fashioned.
P.S. Is anyone buying this story?!

“Americans quarantined at a US Air Force base over the coronavirus are teaching each other Zumba, boxing, and how to file their taxes”
We love our InstaPot.
One of the best things about it? You can put a frozen pot roast in, and have dinner on the table in 3 hours.
Zumba ping!
Who knew this dude would turn out to be smart stealing alcohol.
Self quarantine. What could possibly go wrong?
“...How many “died at home” have yet to be found?”
That would explain those crows swarming there.

The old adage, “If you want something done right, do it yourself.”
So, we’re gambling on the life span of the virus is minutes on surfaces instead of days as some are reporting.
Even without Coronavirus, I would think that locking down entire apartment blocks would involve some deaths at home due to natural causes. I wonder what is being done about removing remains. . . I’ve also thought about family pets left behind by families who have been dragged to quarantine facilities. Seems to me that the authorities had instructed people about culling their pets a while back. Maybe because they knew this was coming. Horrible situation all the way around.
Ebola is still around. (in Africa) There was a peak in cases last Apr thru July. 3,428 cases, 2250 deaths ... a 65% case fatality rate.
Fortunately, the number of cases is again declining.
They recently came out with 2nd vaccine, and have been inoculating people, but don’t know yet what the success rate of it is.
I know. I know.... sigh.
According to virologists, it is days, closer to a week.
Wash your hands often. :~ )
Moving them to the island was the best idea. Moving the suspect person away from others was another great plan.
Barn door and horses. How many students will be walking out the barn door after being exposed all this time to the one student.
WHO : “90-100% of patients require supplemental oxygen, 20-25% require ICU 5-10% require mechanical ventilation huge demand on system tremendous achievement that so many have been kept alive but there is a lag and some of those will die.”

Professor Peter Piot, director of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, said the outbreak is likely to become a pandemic, adding he was becoming increasingly alarmed about the rate of infection. Professor Piot, who co-discovered ebola and the presence of Aids in Africa, warned that coronavirus is more dangerous than ebola.
Its a greater threat because of the mode of transmission. The potential for spread is much, much higher.
If the number of people who get infected is huge, then that will also kill a very large number of people.

By all means, just hop on a bus, filled with people or subway, filled with people and then sit in a waiting room filled with people! Brilliant:)
Then Miss Kitty starts chewing on you and the rats move in. Then the vermin move out across the city and beyond.
The same with Prince Charles.
Although I am not sure how a few billion people in China and Africa are going to make Washington State and Great Britain any better off than they are today.
