SPANISH INFLUENZA - What it is and How it Should be Treated
Vintage “it’s just the flu” story...
16 member family?
Do they all live there full time?
Good for you for having that many days prepped.
“Yes, I have some associates on a business forum who are aware of every nuance of trans-Pacific shipping, but if ships fail to be loaded and dispatched from China, only around five days until their absence shows over here.”
I figure it will start hitting in about a week. That’s when we’ll start seeing empty spots store shelves. It won’t be due to hoarding or panic buying, just cut-off supply lines. We’ll quickly get to see the downside of our “Just-in-Time” inventory systems.
But it will THEN shake confidence in remaining supply lines, which will start panic buying and hoarding. So, bottom line, if you’re considering panicking (which I plan to do on Wednesday), this is probably the last week you get before everyone else is panicking next to you. But it is a personal choice.
...by the way, how often do your supply lines get cut due to the common flu?
Horrid.
And, this is what Bernie supporters are willing to vote for.
This truly is humanity.

Interesting....the person in one room next to patient zero wasn’t infected, but people in all rooms around, were.
Have you seen the vids where they’re pulling people out of their cars and throwing them into vans....due to the ‘no private car’ ban?
It looked like they broke one lady’s neck, as they forced her out of her car.
What’s with so many of the Chinese women wearing pink???
“Get your car serviced, NOW!”
Thanks, we do have 2 relatively new cars, and 2 older ones still in good shape. I can do all basic stuff, but I know that most after-market parts are from China, so maybe stock up on a few things (like brake pads, filters, etc.) while they’re still easy to get. If other stuff breaks...life will be tougher...
Yes....stock up on parts you can replace, yourself.
If those numbers are right, then ~3% death rate at least.

“People returning to Beijing from all other locations are to register their information at the compound where they live. Anyone who’s been in “major epidemic area” must be monitored medically. Police will enforce this... “
Surprising? Smoking the real culprit, not Asian race? Or do I have the ACE2 gene expression confused with something else?
No, I don't think I'm confused...
"Our structural analyses confidently predict that the Wuhan coronavirus uses ACE2 as its host receptor" ✓
The deaths are evidence of why we don’t want government run health care.
How may have died in nations with private health care?
BREAKING: #Shanghai now also announced city lock down to control #coronavirusoutbreak, following #Beijing. #Beijing, #Tianjin, #Shanghai and #Chongqing are all under emergency lock down rules now.
I have ordered a bunch of specialty first aid and medical support stuff that I use a lot of from eBay and Amazon, along with other miscellaneous stuff likely to disappear quickly.
And have a huge quantity of canned dried food for emergencies. Unfortunately, my wife, the cook, died last year. As it is, I eat mostly fast food which will disappear / become unsafe the first day the virus gets introduced to the area.
There were two smokers without greater ACE 2 in the first study.
Neither study is conclusive.
No, I dont think Im confused...
