I saw three of the movies nominated: 1917, once upon a time... and the Irishman. Im ok with either of the first two winning. the Irishman should not even have been nominated. It was a too long and lacked originality. Pacino though was very good.

I’ll see a movie I like several times. 1917 I never want to see again. Between the Milk, Magical airplane crash, body surfing, lousy German marksmanship and the rat it’s just plain stupid.

Pacino was good but he didnt pull off a German American from Brazil, IN by way of Detroit as well as Nicholson did several years ago in Mamets film.
DeNiro was awful.
