I've read in a couple places where the Hellcat had the highest kill to loss ratio of any fighter on either side in WWII.

I was watching "Red Tails" just last night and it occurred to me that with cgi's ability to recreate historic dogfights, it might be nice to see a movie on the Black Sheep squadron...and I actually thought it would be cool to give Conrad a little cameo. Guess that idea's a non-starter now.

Wild, Wild West is considered one of the progenitors of the modern steam punk movement. Neat concept and some great episodes.

RIP Mr. Conrad. Thank you for the entertainment!

I think the Hellcat originally caught the Japanese by surprise. They had developed tactics for use against the Wildcat. When they tried them against the Hellcat they did not work.
