As it turns out there are SLIGHTLY more females born than males. That is probably due to the death rate in giving birth...hedging bets and all.
It all seems to balance out.

One wonders how our good Lord is going to deal with the transgenders. Ooooo, it'll be ugly.

Huh, I always wondered if it was exactly 50/50. In some past and present cultures, plural marriages mean rich men get 100 or so women and the rest get about 0.5 women each on average. That doesn’t add up to a happy culture. That’s why plural marriage is and should be banned.

Or there needs to be 100 women born for every man, I mean. Sorry I digress. Monogamy isn't supported by the approximately equal man/woman birth rate.
