F-15 was primarily designed to counter Mig. Or that they thought of it.

Mm, she's hot as a pepper but smooth as a Mexican brew. So head for the border and put in an order or two. The wings of the blackbird will spread like an eagle for you.

IOW, no, Russia didn’t have its own version of the SR-71 Blackbird because they could never solve the technical obstacles. The titanium used to build the SR-71 was actually mined in the USSR by a front company set up by the CIA, and you just know they figured it out after it was too late. That must have chapped their asses each time there was an overflight. :^)
