The reason why there are not is because people still havent made the connection between the FUBAR nature of this in China, and the fact that China is a Communist authoritarian state with crap in the way of medical infrastructure, not to mention that the place is heavily polluted and most of the people live in squalor.
I’m no where near surprised how bad it is there, while the rest of the world is just dealing with pin-prick cases, and those people are able to get adequate care.
Boy you NAILED IT.
One poster said we were worse off because China makes 80 percent of our antibiotics.
Well, we have a stockpile that fills TWO super Walmart sized warehouses.
And we actually have an infrastructure to get it to who need it and fast.
I was HOPING that since china MAKES so many antibiotics that they would use the military to get it to all 4 corners of the country.
It doesn’t seem that way.
Every 10 years we hear of the new country on the block that is going to throw America into the dustbin of history and it never pans out.
Freedom and capitalism are two of the greatest defenses against an illness like this. Not 100 percent by a long shot, but they give you the best odds.
We live in a Great Country.
I take it for granted sometimes.
Thanks for reminding me.
