People are forcibly removed from their homes by men in hazmat suits;
people are literally thrown onto the bed of a flatbed truck and taken to a quarantine station;
quarantine stations are run by the PLA;
quarantine stations only allow people in, not out;
quarantine stations are not hospitals;
there are no ‘appliances’;
there are no bathrooms;
toilets are outside 200 meters away, but people cannot leave the building;
there are no medicines;
everyone sleeps next to everyone else - only a foot or so of separation between beds;
no partitions - no privacy;
no doctors;
no nurses;
only ramen for food.

Sentiment: I’d rather die at home then go to a quarantine camp.

And YES, worldwide includes China.

I should have been more specific. I would have figured there’s be a million cases outside of China...these things spread so fast and exponentially.

I think technology is helping to contain it...the fast transmission of information etc.

It still may happen outside of China. I hope not.

And as I get older, I hurt for people whereas 20 years ago it would have been like watching a TV show.

They are living a HORROR over there in a totalitarian regimes that cares more about appearance than lives and whose cruelty knows no bounds.

The actions of the Chinese government - those actions that we know of - speak to a massive panic on their part. They have quarantined off at least 50 million people (and I’ve seen reports that it has expanded to 300-400 million!!!), and you don’t do that for the fun of it. Their economy is beginning to shut down, because they are scared to death of SOMETHING. My own theory is that this is either a bio-weapon that they were engineering that got out of that facility 20 miles from Wuhan, or that they were trying at that facility to find a cure (because - again according to reports of questionable validity - it seems to be far more lethal to East Asians), and it got out by accident. Either way, this is a massive disaster, and the worst is definitely yet to come - and not just in China.
