Authorities panic, or know the truth? Leaked shocking virus stats.

Mikhail Voytenko News February 7, 2020 9:44 am

Philippines: Cebu – In executive order issued by Cebu Gov. Gwen Garcia on Feb 6, all foreign vessels that have visited China and its administrative regions 14 days before arriving here shall also not be allowed to immediately dock at any of the more than 30 public and private ports around the province.

The incoming vessels will be placed on a designated anchorage, where a quarantine inspection team will board them to assess the health of all the crew members. Once cleared by the quarantine team, the ship may be allowed to dock for the sole purpose of loading and unloading cargoes. No crew member shall be allowed to disembark from the vessel, and no person will also be allowed to board the ship aside from the quarantine team.

Negros Occidental Province

Ships from China, Hong Kong and Macau are banned from anchoring, berthing or docking at the San Carlos City Port in northern Negros Occidental Province, Negros island.

All ships are directed to proceed to the ports of Cebu or Manila, as the San Carlos port doesn’t have quarantine facilities or qualified quarantine personnel.

Busan Korea: Busan container terminals are on the verge of container capacity, piled up with containers waiting for shipment. Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese media report numerous ships being kept at sea, off ports of Australia and Singapore, because of quarantine. Some ships, they say, are running out of supplies, including food.

Are such strict measures towards cargo ships justified? We don’t know, as we can’t assess situation and risks, because of lack of trustworthy information. What we are supposed to make out of this? Tencent may have accidentally leaked real data on Wuhan virus deaths Tencent briefly lists 154,023 infections and 24,589 deaths from Wuhan coronavirus

Taiwan News https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/3871594

In view of the above accidentally leaked numbers, harsh preventive measures implemented by authorities of some countries, including most extreme one of 14-day quarantine of all ships coming from China PRIOR to health checks and virus test, don’t look all that stupid or rash. Maybe authorities know more than we do, including these numbers, but stick to cover-up, favorable game of all the ruling elites of all times? Who knows.

Still, I believe that among all involved in international movements, transportation and border crossing, cargo ships are least virus risky, and considering vital importance of their role in supply chains, they must be given a priority in health checks, to be docked and handled as quickly as possible.

Cargo ships crews are some 15-30 people, all living in easy to isolate quarters. Why not berth the ships as scheduled, and carry out tests and screening while simultaneously, handling cargo? Crews of ships arriving from China (or any Asian port, if they call some Americas countries) are banned from leaving the ship, anyway. All the more so, if leaked information, including very distressing, gruesome videos from China, published even by mainstream media, is grossly exaggerated, or even fake, though it doesn’t look like fake, not at all.

Guangzhou City is what used to be Canton. So the plague has broken out and has a foothold in the maritime south of China. Next jump will be into SE Asia and Singapore.

“they should have a cure for this in a year. Yep no worries.”

And, of course, the virus will be ultra-cooperative and decide not to mutate, because we’re just such nice people.

Yeah, this is turning out to be a Class A fustercluck, our generation’s Spanish flu, but with a massive air transportation infrastructure to spread it even faster. Wonderful.

Well, we have a stockpile that fills TWO super Walmart sized warehouses.

And we actually have an infrastructure to get it to who need it and fast.

Have you checked around to see whether ANY pharmacy or store has face masks? Been that way for a couple of weeks now.

We are totally unprepared for this.

it seems to be far more lethal to East Asians

`````
Yeah, we just don’t know at this point, as it is just getting into non-Asian populations.
If it is some sort of genetic specific virus ... there was a book years back that had the West engineer an Asian specific bio-weapon which was going to kill every Chinese alive - I forget the back story, but the Chinese sent this taikonaut gal up to a giant asteroid and rig it to smash into the earth creating an ELE. The End.
I agree with you that the numbers coming from China are probably grossly understated - just based on their clearly panicked actions.
But, just for the moment, let’s take the 2.1% fatality rate at face value. That is roughly 21 times the fatality rate for your garden-variety flu bug in any given year. Let’s also understand that it is roughly twice as communicable as the flu. Now put those numbers together, and you’ve got a recipe for 42 times the number of dead, vs. the flu.
Last year, we lost about 24,000 dead from the flu. Do the math on that - a million dead. Roughly equivalent on a per capita basis to all of our deaths from all causes during WW2, compacted into a single year.
I’ve read several Chinese comments that say it has already mutated into something worse - if that’s at all true and we have no way to know, maybe what we are seeing here in the West is the original strain, while the really bad one wreaks havoc on China. That would explain the forced relocation to sealed camps with no anything - just a place to die.
Do we believe the actions of people? Or the cheap words of their leader?
If we are a nation of 325 million and China is a nation of 1.43 billion, how many Chinese die of the flu each year?
Do the math - and still the Chinese enact horribly extreme measures that the word ‘draconian’ does not begin to cover. The scale begins to emerge ...
If it has mutated into something worse, then given the population of China and the number of people (Chinese and others) who have been there and come out in the last several weeks, then it’ll also start showing up here.
I will believe that a bad mutation has occurred when standard treatments that were previously working either stop working, or work at much lower levels of effectiveness.
Under conditions that exist in Wuhan, and now broadly throughout China, NOBODY knows or can know what the actual numbers are. That having been said, I use these two sources for situation reports every day:
WHO
Johns Hopkins
At the Hopkins site you can sign up for daily updates, if you would like to get them.
The European CDC has pretty good information as well.
they are scared to death of SOMETHING
Losing the mandate of heaven, I suspect.
Communist societies appear strong but are not resilient. The end may very well be near for the CCP.
Just scaling up our flu losses, they would lose about 100K/year. Adjust that for them having more crowded cities, sanitation and cleanliness habits that are not up to Western standards, and a healthcare system that is not as good (certainly not for 99% of them), and I would **speculate** that they have at least 250K death/year. I would also assume that they don’t think that it is a big deal in a country with 1.4 billion people - those on top may even view it with favor, getting rid of primarily older, non-productive people.
And even in the face of this, they are quarantining whole regions - which definitely speaks to their leaders’ knowledge that this is a catastrophe in the making, with the possibility of millions of dead and the shut-down of a LOT of their industry.
Some numbers for background
Since the released numbers seem to be principally concerned with Wusan, by taking the total population of China (1.43 billion) and dividing it by your flu deaths per year of 250K, I get .0004 percent and, then take that times Wusan pop of 11 million, I get about 1,500 odd flu deaths per year, divide that by 12 and get 128 deaths per month from the average flu in Wusan.
Since this virus has been going on for near 2 months (I think) that would be 256 deaths this year. So anything over that number is the 2019ncov death number for Wusan. And what of the other 63 quarantined cities?
Yeah no one calls out the army, shuts down at least 5% of their economy, uses forced removal to sealed camps for 256 dead.
********
I find it rather eye opening just how many people can acknowledge that there’s no way the numbers coming out of China aren’t reliable and then go straight to trying to explain the situation based on those same numbers.
That ain’t cognitive dissonance. That’s stupidity.
It was not misread. It was quickly taken down and that was posted on the 1st.
You do not make many 1,000 bed prisons to stick people in for 600 dead in China. This thing is very, very bad in China. I am not sure it will effect anyone else this badly because of several theories but for China they are lying about the numbers and the dead and have been since the beginning. Someone posted a video of the US bring Americans back from Wuhan. It was hinted that this video was leaked on purpose to send a message to China, basically we know. We had our military in level 4 bio suites.
I agree that this is definitely part, even a major part, of their calculus. But losing the Mandate of Heaven would have to occur because of something specific - and a massive pandemic that the “infallible” CCP was unable to stop would be such a thing. But even if losing power to an internal revolt was their first concern, keeping it while a devastating disease (whether natural or engineered, it doesn’t matter) killed off a large number of their people and shut down trade would also weaken them a lot...and they are not interested in being weakened in any way.
Either way, they are extremely interested in containing a very bad disease - and that fact is not a cause for optimism.
