Will the stock market crash if Bernie is nominated and thus crash the economy before the election....

Why would it do that? If Bernie gets elected, then yes, but nominated?
People will start to take profits because if he’s nominated he has a chance to actually be president. It’s simple they prudent thing to do.

Actually, let me revise... The guarantee a crash if Bernie wins the election, and the market wouldn’t wait for inauguration. It would happen in November. I don’t necessarily see the market sliding very hard if Bernie gets nominated.
No. Next question. First response above is right on. Bernie won’t be nominated, no matter the margin of his primary success. Impeachment and SOTU, plus Iowa caucuses demonstrate their naked capacity for shameless behavior.

If Bernie even gets close to the delegates to nominate we’ll
be seeing memes like that of James McDougal, “Bernie didn’t die from a natural heart attack”. Hillary will ride in on a white horse to take the nomination and save the dem party.
Possible. The media and the democrats would have to act at the first sign of numbers going down, and immediately flood the airwaves with “Trump recession.” They’ve been dreaming of that ever since there was a silly-a$$ “inversion” of interest rates.

I think there is a real good chance of that happening, and the market reacting accordingly.
They seem to be going for the Cheat Butt nomination. Outright stole Iowa, which gave a bump to socially liberal NH, and then only have to steal the Nevada caucus (when is the last time that wasn’t stolen?) to make it three out of four. (Probably not much hope for South Carolina, which needs another 100K Northeasterners to migrate in order to make it socially liberal.)
And Bloomy, who NYers have always had their suspicions about, could likely put Cheat on his shoulders, shall we say, in a big way.
Then the question is were the socially less liberal black men already defecting to Trump, so the Cheat effect wouldn’t be so great with them? Will this just cement the guilt-ridden, white suburban women into the Dem party for the next eight years, if not for good?
No. The nomination means nothing.
They are only wishing it would because they hate Trump so much.
Bernie is the least effective potential candidate out of their top 5. He would lose in a landslide.
if he gets the nomination I could see the stock market soar because now people would know that DJT will have close to if not a 50 state victory.
