Democrats Are Now Blaming Trump Supporters For Part of Chaos in Iowa
Democrats never seem to fail when it comes to placing blame on President Trump and Republicans for their problems, and apparently the Iowa caucuses are no exception.
Technical difficulties were first blame with the questionable app that was being used, then mathematical errors seemed to be the problem. And now, Democrats are saying part of the confusion and delay in the night was because Trump supporters flooded the hotline used by precinct chairs in the state.
At the outset of boiler room operations on February 3rd, the Iowa Democratic Party experienced an unusually high volume of inbound phone calls to its Caucus hotline. These included callers who would hang up immediately after being connected, supporters of President Trump who called to express their displeasure with the Democratic Party, and Iowans looking to confirm details for their evenings Caucus, and Iowa Democratic official told an NBC reporter.
Party staff and volunteer flagged and subsequently blocked repeat callers who appeared to be reaching out in an attempt to interfere with their reporting duties, the official continued.
Veterans of past boiler room operations described the volume of calls as highly irregular compared to previous Caucuses. The unexplained, and at times hostile, calls contributed to the delay in the Iowa Democratic Partys collection of results, but in no way affected the information gathered or the accuracy of data sets reported.
Democrats always blame others for their dirty deeds and misfortunes.
All those damned Trump supporters - and it wasn’t even a contested primary! That alone ought to scare the living hell out of them.
I dont think Trump people had access to the app.
THEN AND NOW-THE IOWA CAUCUS DEBACLE UP-CLOSE:
LAST FALL, Iowas Republican and Democratic Parties and their app and web development vendors partnered with (cough) Harvards Defending Digital Democracy Project to develop strategies and systems to protect results and deal with misinformation.
The Harvard group included party campaign experts Robby Mook and Matt Rhodes, and experts in (A) cybersecurity, (B) national security, (C) technology and (D) election administration.
Fortuitously, the group simulated different ways things could go wrong on caucus night. (cue maniacal laugh machine here).
Mook is 2016 campaign manager for Hillary Clinton, and Rhodes is Mitt Romneys 2012 campaign manager.
Out of sheer public-spiritededness, these two helped develop a video to alert campaigns to warning signs of hacking and misinformation.
THAT WAS THEN- THIS IS NOW-WHAT THE IOWA DEMOCRAT PARTY IS SAYING IN THE AFTERMATH OF THE DEBACLE
The app the Iowa Democratic Party commissioned to tabulate and report results from the caucuses on Monday was not properly tested, people briefed on the app by the state party told newspapers. It was quickly put together in just the past two months , said the people, who asked to remain anonymous because they were not authorized to speak publicly.
Plus the state party decided to use the app only after another proposal for reporting votes which entailed caucus participants phoning in their votes was abandoned, on the advice of DNC officials, according to David Jefferson, a board member of Verified Voting, a nonpartisan election integrity organization.
Cornered rats.
Again.
Da! It was us. And moose!
After having gotten away with their methods for so long an seeing “no controlling legal authority” to stop them, why would they change?
If only Trump supporters could.
Iowa is what I call a self-inflicted wound for democrats.
and Nancy is on right now babbling about something ,LOL
That's Rule #1 in the Liberal Rules of Engagement handbook;
"It's always someone else's fault."
Hell is murky!Nonsense, my lord, nonsense! You are a soldier, and yet you are afraid? Why should we be scared, when no one can lay the guilt upon us?
Shakespeare - MacBeth Act V Scene 1
Typical Dem tactic to blame Trump instead of Hillarys Shadow henchmen who seized the reporting apparatus in an effort to stop Bernie and boost Slow Joes numbers, only to hit Bernies firewalls. Someday we may get the real story behind this cyber trench warfare. Hopefully, Trump will be ready to do computer combat in November.
Well it took a little longer than I expected, but they finally did as I expected..............
Beware of projection! I can be an indicator of what they plan to do.
DEMS HAVE NO OTHER AVENUE THAN TO BLAME TRUMP SUPPORTERS. WHAT WILL THEY SAY WHEN THE REPUBLICANS TAKE OVER THE HOUSE, SENATE AND THE PRESIDENCY IN NOVEMBER?
Dems love the SODDI defense.
