he said he agreed with what majority leader said about the personnel....then he went on to thank specific people

What he did is not normal...but then this wasnt a normal proceeding

you thank the lead person who presided over the trial..especially when a member of SCOTUS..and not just any member of SCOTUS

it was a snub..whether intentional or not

if you notice...Chief Justice named his position when thanking him..didnt just say
“personnel”

Absolutely, and it was both intentional and planned. Roberts is the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the Presiding Officer of the trial, and holds the highest level of prestige in the entire chamber. Schumer and other dems insulted him and questioned his impartiality numerous times after he refused to put his thumb on the scale. It is all part of Schumer's scheme to portray both Roberts and the acquittal as illegitimate.

I hope Roberts remembers this. He should have no doubt that if the dems are returned to power, Supreme Court Justices that do not toe the line will not be tolerated.
