I think it is great to thank those people. They deserve it. They work hard and have to put up with a lot of egos.
Not dissing him for thanking them..dissing him for refusal to acknowlege Roberts.
But it might be like those Oscar speeches where a Wife forgets to thank her husband and this has to do it later.

Absolutely, and it was both intentional and planned. Roberts is the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the Presiding Officer of the trial, and holds the highest level of prestige in the entire chamber. Schumer and other dems insulted him and questioned his impartiality numerous times after he refused to put his thumb on the scale. It is all part of Schumer's scheme to portray both Roberts and the acquittal as illegitimate.
I hope Roberts remembers this. He should have no doubt that if the dems are returned to power, Supreme Court Justices that do not toe the line will not be tolerated.

(1/3 x 97%) + (1/3 x 30%) + (1/3 x 82%) = 70%
(assume voters are 1/3 Republicans, 1/3 Democrats, and 1/3 Independents)
