Barack Obama has endorsed Gretchen Whitmer for governor.
The former president said he's proud to endorse Whitmer because Michigan’s middle-class families need a governor who knows how to get things done.
“Gretchen has spent her whole life getting real results for hardworking Michiganders, whether it was raising the minimum wage, or working to expand Medicaid through the Affordable Care Act to cover more than 680,000 people," said Obama.

It all made more sense after a simple search and come to find out this Michigan governor was hand picked and probably reared and coached by big "O" himself.
The programmed, cookie cutter, buzz word speech was hollow and meant to trigger emotive responses from a drone audience.. Seems to be some form of neuro-linguistic programming, that actually quite scarily effective with herd-mentality listeners that have an ax to grind, feel disenfranchised or are part of the bitter depressed left wing of our society. A fresh dose of brainwashing that is so obvious to some.
A classic example of one of Rush Limbaugh's description of the left talking points of, "Symbolism over substance". Really predictable surmount of nothingness, hook without a worm, but the fish are still biting of sorts that actually still trips up herd stampedes apparently from some bitter masses.
And yet Michigan was STOOOOOOPID enough to elect her.

If we’re going there, the GOPe pulled the rug out on Schuette after the primary voters didn’t follow their orders to nominate Calley.
That cuts both ways; S didn’t hesitate to annoy the regulars and they made no effort to avoid a D win. At least they’ve found enough spine to keep Granholm II from effecting her radicalism.
Listened to Gretch on the radio last night.
