With the wounds of WWI still fresh, and given the utter waste of millions of men at the direction of the King, at that time it was hard to blame them.

They later got drafted and became cannon fodder in the war. If they had joined up early, likely many more have survived as officers.

I do not miss them, but somehow they are back yet again to try and do the devil’s work,just another iteration of Beta maleeuro-weenie cowardice , cloaked in a mistaken morass of liberal sensitivity, designed to relieve men and women of their civic duties so the commies and fascists can conquer freedom and liberty from within. The same shit is happening in Israel and in the United States , but we are fighting back, something these academic, utopian dream weavers are not used to.
