I’m not convinced rising sea levels have anything to do with so called global warming. The Mississippi River dumps between 200 to 300 million ton’s of sediment into the Gulf of Mexico every year, It’s one of 120+ major rivers in the world. I’ve seen studies that as much as 50 ton’s of solar dust is deposited daily on land and sea. When you displace that much water there’s only one place for it to go.
The sea level stuff doesn’t hold merit with me. Within the last month a town a couple miles north of us was in the news because of tidal flooding from “rising seas”. The coastal town always had tidal flooding, at least for the last 50 years that I’ve seen. And the level of the ocean on the jetties and inlet wall is right about where it’s always been.
