Adults and children that were properly raised will, when caught in an obvious lie, admit it and try to move on. Children that were not raised properly will double down. 99% of rats are still children and were not raised properly.
Gerhardt is attacking the foundation of the profession. lawyers are supposed to aggressive in defending their clients and the line between right and wrong gets straddled (for the lack of a better term). Turley knows that disbarring the defense team would hurt the entire profession. IMO
