Since Mr. Peanut is officially killed off as of today, let’s hope the same happens to Bernie (politically speaking, of course) if he tries to usurp Mr. Peanut’s prior role. Maybe Bernie should try going for Aunt Jemima or Rastus the Cook of Cream of Wheat fame - might help him with the black vote. The Trix rabbit or Mr. Mucus could be interesting from a whacko perspective & gosh knows, there’s plenty of those types on the “Left” that might be attracted.
