Not glaring. He was never expected.
I don’t follow football, but even I knew that no pro team wanted Colin after that goofy ‘no show’ workout.
That was likely his last chance for a long time.

I don’t follow all of the ins and outs of the Kapernick story, but, isn’t it a fact that he would be huge distraction if he was there?

I wonder if he was asked not to be there?

The 49ers are in the Super Bowl because of his absence.

Hillary said it best: “ Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him. He got nothing done,”

Applies to Kap as well

I wouldn’t be surprised if theres SRO (standing room only) admission. But there isn’t any KRO (Kneeling Room Only) admission, because it’s hard to see the game. /S

“Glaring Absence at the Super Bowl”

Probably a breath of very fresh air for those that are watching.

Some people NEED erasing.

I couldn’t give a rip less about the whereabouts of Colon Kaeperdick. Not today, tomorrow or next week. He is the quintessential non-entity, in my world.

Kneelers aside, I stopped watching the Super Bowl and ANY of the related programming years ago. When it became more of an event for COMMERCIALS and CELEBRITIES than a match up between the two best teams from their respective divisions, I lost all interest in it and that’s just the way it is.

Nobody wants him at the Super Bowl because his afro would block most of the camera views.

“They’re trying to erase him,” said New York Giants safety Michael Thomas, a vice president with the NFL Players Association. “Even if you’re not going to talk about the controversial part, at least talk about what he did on the field—which was electrifying.”

He's like a boil, once it's gone, no one wants it back.

He got more mileage out of less quality talent than anyone in the league, ever.

He was a decent runner but a terrible passer, and once the league caught on to his deficiencies, they shut him down, and that is the reason he had time to kneel on the sidelines.

If he had the talent, and was still the starting QB, does anyone believe that he'd be kneeling, protesting, whatever in the hell he was protesting.

He is a child that got sent to his room, and he holds his breath until he doesn't.

“Even if you’re not going to talk about the controversial part, at least talk about what he did on the field—which was electrifying.”

It was. For about 24 games of his career. After that, defenses totally figured out ALL his tricks, and he was one of the worst QBs in the league. dollar-for-dollar the worst by far.

Did defenses "solve" Tom Brady in under 2 seasons? They never did. Kapperdick was sop mediocre. Just because they got lucky and made it to the Super Bowl means nothing. Without the racial crap, he would already have been forgotten.
