I just bought a Trek Dual Sport 4. Traded in my old (1986?) Bridgestone 12 speed road bike.
The Bridgestone was a good bike but heavy and too narrow for all the gravel paths around here.
Haven't done any big rides yet on the Trek. But the test ride felt really good and I love the ease of shifting that modern technology allows. Far better than the find em or grind em levers on the old bike.
I had a ten speed for a time...in early H.S.
I had a beach cruiser that I loved...in my early 30's...Got stolen..from the place I worked at...
Had a cheap MTB...that the Hosp I worked at bot for me...as long as I rode it to work so many days a month...
Had a front shocked Haro MTN bike....Actually was a great bike...Until I ran it into a carport...as it was on a rooftop rack....
I now have the Marin East Peak..
